Welcome to NJ Play Sports. These terms cover your use of this website (njplaysports.com). By using the site, you agree to them. They're short on purpose — please actually read them.

The short version

Be a good sport online, just like on the field. Use the site for what it's for — finding leagues, checking schedules, and staying in the loop. Don't misuse it, don't scrape it, and don't pretend to be someone you're not.

Registration and payments happen at checkout

When you register for a league, tournament, or event, checkout runs on our registration platform, LeagueLab. Your registration and payment are governed by the terms presented there — the LeagueLab Participant Payment Terms — together with our own payment policies:

• Team Payment Policy

If anything in these website terms conflicts with the terms you accept at checkout, the checkout terms win for that registration.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your login to yourself and make sure your info is accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else got into it, tell us right away.

Playing with us

Participation in our leagues and events is covered by our Waiver & Release of Liability, which every player accepts before playing, and our Community Guidelines, which set the standard for conduct on and off the field. League-specific rules live on our Rules page.

Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the site
• Post or transmit anything abusive, harassing, or misleading
• Scrape, copy, or republish site content or player data
• Interfere with the site's operation or try to access accounts or systems that aren't yours

We can suspend or remove access for anyone who abuses the site or our community.

Our content

The content on this site — text, logos, schedules, photos — belongs to NJ Play Sports or its licensors. You can share links and use the site normally, but don't reuse our content commercially without asking us first. Game photos may include players; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle photos and personal info.

Privacy

How we collect and use your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

No guarantees about the site

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided “as is.” Schedules, standings, and league details can change — when they do, we'll update the site and notify affected players as fast as we can. To the fullest extent the law allows, NJ Play Sports isn't liable for losses arising from your use of the website itself. (Participation in leagues and events is covered by the waiver, not this section.)

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
